Transportation in Punta Cana

Sometimes you are in a hurry, but other times you're not, and even often you may get fast to your hotel.

Traffic in Punta Cana

From 9 AM to 10 AM there is high traffic, and from 1 PM to 6 PM the amount of traffic can be insane.

That's why we always recommend pickup times 3 hours before your departure time from the Punta Cana zone, which comprehends from the Hard Rock area to hotels in Cap Cana.

It may take up to 40 minutes just because of traffic, and from Uvero Alto it may take up to 1 hour and 30 minutes with high traffic.

Traveling Comfortably and Securely

So then, the deal is to travel comfortably and securely, without stress, and with a driver that takes his job seriously.

Our drivers' maximum allowed speed is 100 km/h (60 mph), and that's because you may find drivers that do not respect the law regarding speed limits.

My Experience Driving Clients

I have encountered many situations with clients in which I had to take a breath and keep going because I need to drive very seriously.

I don't usually speak with clients because I know that sometimes the client just wants to relax and have a calm travel to their resort.

But sometimes clients establish conversations with me regarding the culture and ask questions like:

"There are many constructions... why is that?"

And I answer that many buildings are getting constructed because the Punta Cana heads want to expand tourism, and the future is that there are bigger plans in Punta Cana for tourism.

Conversations About Punta Cana

These conversations happen sometimes during transportation because visitors notice how much Punta Cana is changing.

There are many constructions, hotels, resorts and other developments around the area, and this is part of the growth that Punta Cana has been experiencing.

Resorts Can Be Different Even in the Same Hotel Complex

There are some hotels that many people think are just one hotel, like the Palladium Hotel.

In there, we may encounter at least 3 similar resorts but different from each other.

It depends on the style, amenities, exclusive access to restaurants and other things.

So even when two resorts are located in almost the same place or inside the same hotel complex, the experience can be different depending on which one you choose.
