This institutional policy establishes the principles and procedures that govern the disclosure of information by Miro.travel, a destination management company (DMC) specializing in the planning, coordination, and high-level logistical execution for travelers, tourists, business professionals, and international investors in the Dominican Republic.
As part of the DSI Engine ecosystem, Miro.travel recognizes that transparent access to information not only strengthens trust with its clients and partners but also contributes to ethical and accountable management aligned with global tourism and business governance standards.
This Information Disclosure Policy (hereinafter, the “Policy”) is intended to ensure responsible, timely, and reasonable public access to information concerning the company’s operations, services, policies, and institutional practices, subject to the limitations set forth herein.
This Policy applies to all Information generated, received, or held by Miro.travel, regardless of the medium in which it is stored (digital, physical, audiovisual, or audio), as long as such information is institutional, operational, or public in nature and is not classified as confidential under the provisions of this Policy.
For the purposes of this Policy, 'Information' includes, but is not limited to:
- Institutional documents, reports, and operational policies;
- Service descriptions and quality standards;
- Contractual and relational data with suppliers, partners, and authorities;
- Logistics-related data tied to events, activities, or experiences;
- Official publications and communications;
- Customer service protocols, reservation systems, and on-site service documentation.
Information disclosure by Miro.travel shall be governed by the following principles:
- Transparency: information will be disclosed proactively, clearly, and verifiably.
- Accessibility: public information will be digitally accessible in a multilingual and functional manner.
- Accountability: disclosures will align with legal, ethical, and strategic standards.
- Proportionality: access to information will be balanced with the need to protect privacy, security, and commercial interests.
- Non-discrimination: all requests will be evaluated impartially.
Miro.travel shall make publicly available, on an ongoing and updated basis, the following institutional Information:
- General policies and regulatory documents;
- Terms and conditions of service;
- Privacy, confidentiality, and data processing policies;
- Website terms of use and contact mechanisms;
- Strategic alliances or institutional relationships;
- Public statements, press releases, and informative materials.
This information will be primarily published through the official website [https://miro.travel](https://miro.travel) and may be reproduced under a limited-use license as established in section 9 of this Policy.
The following categories of Information are classified as Confidential and shall not be disclosed:
- Correspondence or agreements with third parties with reasonable expectations of confidentiality;
- Information affecting the safety, privacy, or integrity of users, staff, partners, or third parties;
- Data related to reservations, logistics, or experiences in progress;
- Information protected by contractual confidentiality or intellectual property rights;
- Documents subject to internal review, audits, or investigations;
- Internal communications, drafts, strategic analyses, and executive deliberations;
- Information whose disclosure could compromise negotiations or the execution of agreements or partnerships.

Requests must include:
- The applicant’s identity and contact details;
- A precise description of the requested information;
- (Optional) Intended use or justification of the request.
Miro.travel shall confirm receipt within 10 business days and will aim to respond within 30 business days. For complex or resource-intensive requests, an estimated time frame will be provided. A reasonable fee may be charged for reproduction or additional processing.
A request may be wholly or partially denied if:
- It involves Confidential Information;
- It imposes an excessive burden on institutional resources;
- It is found to be unfounded, malicious, repetitive, or abusive.
Applicants may submit a written appeal to the Executive Directorate of Miro.travel, who shall resolve the case within 45 business days. The final decision is not required to include an extensive justification.
All disclosed Information is protected by intellectual property rights. Its use is authorized solely for informational purposes and may not be exploited commercially or altered. Reproduction or redistribution must credit the source and comply with Miro.travel’s usage terms.
Miro.travel makes no guarantees regarding the absolute accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of disclosed Information. Users assume all responsibility for interpreting or acting upon the information obtained. The company shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages derived from such use.
This Policy shall be available in both Spanish and English. In case of discrepancies, the Spanish version shall prevail as the official version registered and operated by Miro.travel in the Dominican Republic.
This Policy shall enter into force as of its publication on the official Miro.travel website. Any revisions will be duly communicated and published.
